1 Learn the concept
Learn how to plan, record and launch your podcast. A good name is easy to say, remember and search for, and tells people what the show is about. Planning includes deciding how many episodes to prepare before launch, how long they will be and how often you will publish. This lesson covers naming and planning.
2 See it in action
- Choose a name that is clear and searchable.
- Check that the name is not already in use.
- Plan a season or a set of launch episodes.
- Decide length and frequency you can sustain.
Worked example
Choosing between three names
"Business Talk": too generic.
"The Main Street Marketing Show": clear and local.
"Zyx Radio": hard to say or spell.
Choose: the second and check availability across platforms.
Plan: 10 episodes recorded before launch so there is a buffer.
3 Study an example
