Personal confidence plan
From the lesson State of Mind
Work through each step on paper or on screen. Use a real business, a project of your own or a friend’s idea. Keep this page for your portfolio.
1Write the three fears that hold you back.
2Beside each, write one small action that tests it.
3Start your proof list with five things you have completed.
Worked example to compare with: Building a proof list
- Starting point: five items. Two finished courses, one class report, one volunteer newsletter, one portfolio piece.
- Habit: add one item each week.
- Use: when fear shows up before an application, read the list, then send the application.
- Result to look for: a longer list each month and less hesitation.
- Check: if you cannot think of ten items, create two small projects this month.
Check yourself
- I can explain "State of Mind" in one sentence.
- I used a real business or project, not just an idea.
- I know what I will do next, and by when.
